Bogdan Bogdanović is now a free agent, as the Los Angeles Clippers have decided not to exercise the option in his contract, according to American journalist Jake Fischer.
Following this development, the Serbian guard is leaving the Los Angeles team and enters the market as an unrestricted free agent, able to negotiate his next contract.
His primary goal remains to stay in the NBA; however, if a satisfactory offer does not materialize, the prospect of his return to Europe is gaining significant momentum. Several EuroLeague teams are closely monitoring the situation, as Bogdanović is one of the most attractive free agents on the market.
The Clippers are exercising Brook Lopez's $9.2 million team option, with the intent on keeping him, source says. Los Angeles will not pick up the options for Nicolas Batum or Bogdan Bogdanovic.
