LeBron James appears to be at a significant turning point in his career, as according to a revelation by Shams Charania, he has informed the Los Angeles Lakers that they will be parting ways.
The same reports indicate that his next destination is expected to be the Golden State Warriors, where he will play alongside Steph Curry.
The all-time leading scorer in NBA history joined the Lakers in 2018 and was instrumental in winning the championship in 2020, which took place in the Orlando “bubble.”
According to Charania, James contacted the Lakers‘ management and announced his intention to continue his career elsewhere, with the 2026-27 season finding him on a new team.
Meanwhile, American reports suggest that the veteran superstar is preparing to move to San Francisco, where he will attempt to conclude his impressive NBA career wearing a Warriors jersey, alongside Steph Curry and Draymond Green.
