GIORGOS KYRIAKIDIS

Born in Athens, I turned two lifelong passions — writing and basketball — into a career. I hold a degree in Communication and Media Studies and a Master's in the Sociology and History of Sport. For nearly 20 years, I have covered European and international basketball, reporting from arenas, tournaments, and interviews across Europe. My work is driven by curiosity, a love for storytelling, and an endless collection of notes that follows me everywhere. Whenever possible, I travel — whether for reporting assignments or simply to discover new places, cultures, and people. Because, in the end, the best stories always begin with a good conversation.
